Brief Answer:
chronic kidney disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

Her reports show moderate kidney impairement and low hemoglobin.

CKD can be medically managed until the patient becomes extremely breathless or starts having symptoms like loss of appetite and vomiting.

However what worries me is her low blood pressure. It is the low blood pressure that is causing her symptoms of giddiness, Blood patches on the skin are normal in renal failure patients, it is because of low platelets.

Here is how you should go about it

1. Ask of ECHO cardiac test and thyroid function test for the low blood pressure\
2. Most kidney patients will have low hemoglobin which can also cause tiredness and giddiness. Make sure her hemoglobin is above 10. It will improve her general condition as well
3. Let her lie down in the bed with the leg slightly elevated, this will improve the blood pressure
4. Follow a low potassium diet, which is avoid raagi, fruit juices and tender coconut water. Do not consume citrus fruits and banana
5. Restrict fluid to less than 1.2 litres per day
6. Avoid red meat. Chicken and fish are ok

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Thank you Dr XXXXXXX the doctor has suggested her to take Erypro 4000 injection however the pharmacists have confused me with the following 3 names:

ERYPRO 4000IU INJECTION
ERYPRO PREFIL 4000 INJECTION
EPOTREND 4000IU 1.0ML INJECTION

Could you please help me with which one that needs to be taken and if there are any differences in them?

Thanks again for your patience and understanding. Really appreciate your time for this effort.
