Are HIV-1/HIV-2 Antibody And P24 Antigen Tests Taken 3 Weeks After Exposure Conclusive?
Almost Nil.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
Since you have got P24 antigen test which is highly sensitive and that is negative so chances of having HIV are remote.
However if you are worried you may get a repeat HIV 1 & 2 antibody test done after 6 weeks of exposure. If that is also negative then you surely don't have HIV as you have got a repeat test after the window period of HIV.
So don't get panic. I suppose you don't even need any test still you can get a repeat HIV test done.
In case you have contact number of the lady you had sexual encounter you may request her for a HIV test. If she agrees and comes out to be negative you are totally safe.
I hope it helps you.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
Play safe to be sure.
As mentioned I suffer from anxiety so I keep thinking the worst.
No follow up question. Ill just be 100% safe in the future.
Many thanks Again
Good luck.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, All your symptoms seems to be due top anxiety only.
I would recommend you to get tested for HIV once again so that you have crossed the window period and the HIV report is conclusive. That would give you peace at mind and would reduce your anxiety.
Good Luck.
