Are EGFR Levels Of 75 Abnormal?
Question: Is a egf of 75 abnormal
In female aged 67?
In female aged 67?
Brief Answer:
Could be normal
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Are you asking about eGFR (estimated Glomerullar filteration rate)?
If yes, it is estimated with serum creatinine levels, age and gender.
But yes generally with age the eGFR reduces. It is also lower in females compared to males. In that sense since normal GFR is between 90-120, 75 should be near normal for this age group
Hope I answered your question.

Well shes 67. And she does have to go to pass urine quite often . Is there a possible link with this ?
Brief Answer:
infection and menopause symtoms worsening
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
There could be a link but not for sure.
It has to be investigated with urine microscopy and hemogram.
That would establish the link.
For now any vaginal or urethral/bladder infection would cause increased urination. Possibly worsening menopausal symptoms too.
