Brief Answer:
within a 5 day period or if symptoms severe

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

With a known history of sinus infections and allergies along with structural changes, you do not need to wait for a long period of time.
If there is no improvement in the mucus within a 5 day period or there is worsening then you should be seen.

If your symptoms are severe eg persistent coughing or fever or feeling generally very unwell or spreads to your chest with shortness of breath or chest pain, then you should be seen and a prescription given

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
