Allergic To Latex. Having Yellow Discharge With Odor. What Can Be Done?
Question: I wanted to know, I am allergic to latex. My partner and I are both std free but yet I have yellow discharge with an odor. The doctor says that it isn't bv, which i'm prone to getting. I don't know what else it could be.

Even trichomonas infection can present with discharge.
It is not usually tested in regular std tests.
Make sure you get tested for trichomonas and chlamydia.
Another important thing is latex allergy.
I would like to know whether you or your partner use condoms while having sexual intercourse.
It is important as most of condoms are made of latex.

I advice you to use polyurethane condoms. There does not contain latex and may be helpful in curing your symptoms. These condoms are available in market.

Okay. I'll bring that up to my physician because I told her that i'm allergic to latex before she could examine me. They sent a culture to a lab because they noticed a little white and yellow so i'm nervous about what it will show.
Dont worry, just relax. your tests will be normal.

But what will stop the itching? Right now i'm on keflex for a respiratory infection and she thinks it will cover both my lungs and my âlower regionâ. He's worried about if I had a reaction. The results come in on Wednesday

Keflex is an antibiotic.
It will take care of respiratory infection as well as if there is any vaginal infection.
For itch you can take tab levocetrizine once daily.
also apply mild steroid cream like hydrocortisone.
This will help in controlling the itch.
