Question: My daughter who is 9 just threw up a small very thick substance. She wasn't sweaty or clammy like hen you regularly throw up. What is this?
Vomit looked like oatmeal. Only about 3T worth. Regular color. She ate nothing out of ordinary. Cereal, French fries.

Hello,

Thanks for the query.

It can probably be a mixture of altered food, mucus and gastric acid. If she doesn't have any symptoms now and tolerates food well then there is nothing to worry about. She will need medical attention if vomiting recurs and she isn't tolerating food.

Hope this answers your answer. I will be available for further assistance if need be.

Regards

Hi, was just wondering, for nearly a year I've had a constant feeling of nausea, my GP put it down to stomach acid but no antibiotics have worked that they have given me. But I do get a bit of acid reflux. Sometimes the nausea is worse, especially when travelling, some time after eating and before bedtime. Just wondering if there's any suggestions? I'm sick of going my GP and asking if I'm pregnant about 20 times (which I know I'm not, many tests taken), thanks

Hi. I am 29 years old and was diagnosed with a higher stomach acid. Yesterday morning around 4am I was in a bad condition and this time I was so worried because while the acid in my stomach was so high, Im chilling while my body feels so hot. Its just like im in fever. I was just wondrin if this is a normal effect of a higher stomach acid. I was so stressed that day working around 14-16hrs in my computer.

the past two days I've had almost Constant heartburn/acid reflux feelings in my stomach, after eating some grilled food. it's kept me up and this morning i decided i had to do something, so i went into the bathroom and vomited. this vomit was extremely concentrated, brown, and stung my throat unlike even pure stomach acid had from vomiting. I also found a small, bloody piece of what looked like snot or something similar. What's going on?
