Brief Answer:
Wait a couple of weeks and repeat the usg. Could also be blighted ovum.

Detailed answer:

Hi,

This may be consistent with blighted ovum and may not result in a viable pregnancy. However, sometimes, a hand held fetal ultrasound cannot detect fetal heart rate this early. I would insist you to wait and to repeat the ultrasound after a couple of weeks. Nevertheless, you should be open to the possibility of blighted ovum and if that is the case, sooner or later you may get a vaginal bleeding due to missed abortion wherein the un-viable gestational sac would be shed.
