User :   I fell last week on the stairs and bent the knee backwards (towards the thigh). it has been growing sore....
User :   However, it's not unbearable, just sore. Mainly in the back of the knee...lack of range of motion..

User :   I am 25 and athletic, no preexisitng knee injuries whatsoever

User :   yea

User :   it just feels weak
User :   If I extend it I can feel the pain in the back of hte knee...
User :   I never heard a pop or snap or anything of that nature...
Doctor :   well then there is nothing to worry about as if the knee ligament was broken or displaced you would have had unbearable pain
