User :   My 10 Year old son has been sent for an MRI and I do not know why, he is perfectly healthy except he walks with a wide gait. The Specialist only told me that there might be some brain injury at birth (which I never noticed) Or something he developed when he came down with meningitis. What is he looking for and can it be treated

Doctor :   There are different type of gaits like scissoring , waddling , etc.
Doctor :   which controls voluntary activities of limbs.
Doctor :   Scissoring gait is seen in cerebral palcy.

Doctor :   Nerve regeneration in children is very good.Wallerian regeneration.
Doctor :   or otherwise nerve implants from intercoastal nerves are taken to innervate a specific muscle if its roots or axons are damaged.
