Please proceed with your query
My 3 months 3 weeks old son doesnt sleep in the night and he sleeps full in the day time
in the night he plays for soime time then he cries intermittently..
his head will be warm
in the dat time its not warm but in the night it is warm and some times it is hot too
will it be a problem? i saw in the net that SIDS and all... so worried...
Do you have a thermometer at home?
I will suggest you to check his temperature when you feel he is warm.
body temperature is ok i mean through touch and feel only the head is warm
how to check the temp should i put in the armpit?
As long as his surface temperature are under normal limits (within 100 deg F)
the extra warmth that you notice will not affect him.
From your previous discussions I see you have already consulted pediatricians for breathing difficulties
may I know how he responds to saline nasal drop solution.
they say that that is normal... that breathing sound and all
Does he feel better after saline nasal drop instillation?
yeah we give saline nasal drops etc... but he ok now... small gur gur sound will be there but doctors said it is normal in this season
no we cant make difference
Is the child feeding well and active during the day time?
yesterday also we showed to paed... but for vamiting milk and breathing sound.... but dint ask him regarding warm head
yes he is feeding well but sleps most in the day and night he doesnt.
he is active in the night
As I mentioned earlier, warm forehead is not concerning if the child is not running fever.
You can monitor his temperature with a thermometer and clarify.
its not oly forehead warm but complete head
you need not be concerned about warm head.
Check for his armpit temperature
ok doctor, thanks
and if you feel temperature is above 99/100
you can get it confirmed with his pediatrician.
Is there any other question?
ok thanks doctor
