Hello doctor..My son is 4 months old. I got his HC checked today and it is 39 cms. I am worried on his low HC
Is this microcephaly?
There is no need to worry it is normal range.
His height is 62 cms and weight is 5.5 kg
Actually I was referring to WHO charts and it shows below 3rd percentile
May I know his HC during his birth
HIS HC during birth was 32.59 . Last month it was 38 cm

See the curve please. In this the last curve on the right hand writes as 5. this is 5th percentile and the months are on the top. so take line after 3rd month and on the left is the HC required. you will see that it is around 38 to 44 cm.
