I was hospitalised in May-2014 with acute follicular tonsillitis for 10 days
last month my throat got infected again
ok
there was no pain or any other symptom associated with it
I just saw a small white spot
and i asked doctor in this forum
and he advised me to do
anteceptic gargle, refrain from taking cold food/beverages and anything seet, including colored beverages
ok
I followed these for 5 days and white spot was very negligible
so i stopped doing it
after 2 weeks again
i see white spot
on same left size
similar size
there is no pain but i feel some foreign body on left side of my throat when i swallow saliva
should i be concerned?
It seems like a bacterial infection
If you have no other symptoms you can safely ignore it
Antibiotics can be taken if it becomes severe
so is it ok to have a white spot in my tonsils all the time?
usually i tend to forget it
when i am busy
I would have given antibiotics if there were many similar spots
Since it is single spot and is not giving any trouble it can be ignored
but i feel it every 3 days a week
and am i expected to take these precautions all the time?
Is it ok if i drink cold beer?

how do i know that infection is becoming severe and i should go to a doctor
If multiple spots appear
this spot increases in size
you develop pain while swallowing
You develop fever due to it
Any other symptom related to it and you may see a doctor at thattime
Also, there is one more thing
while i was hospitalised the doctor tols me that the partition in my nose is slightly tilted

Everyone has deviated nasal septum
Nothing much to worry about that either
and because of this sometimes nose is not clear (one side - sometimes rt sometimes left)
so it does not increase severity of my throat infection rt?
