User:Hello Doctor I am XXXXXXX from XXXXXXX

User:I have 2.5 months old baby born on XXXXXXX 12th prematurely at 35 weeks of gestation age
User:He is now 2 and half months old
User:and during night time he suffers from cold aand nasal blockage and he makes some sounds and then vomits milk through mounth and nose as well.. day time he is normal and only from night 12 to morning 7 amm this problem arises and he doent sleep properly..
Doctor:Since when baby is having this problem from birth?
User:Also looks like digestion problems and due to that he might be making noices or may be due to cold i dont know. motion is irregular and my wife will give some milk plus castor oil to lick the baby then after some time motion is proper

Doctor:Noise during sleep is common with child
User:they stay at rural village and twice they went to doctor and doctor said it is normal he is fine dont worry like that...
Doctor:Vomiting may be due to indigestion
Doctor:Is mother giving breastfeed?
User:by my wife and her mom both has to awake whole night to look after him and worry by seeing his condition
User:yes mostly breatmilk but it is insufficient and some times may be once a day they give formula feed NAAN
Doctor:Mixed feed can cause indigestion
Doctor:Avoid mixed feed during nights
User:What should we do? tbreast milk is insufficient sometimes
User:Ok we will avoid but one doubt should we stick to breast milk at night or formula feed at night?
Doctor:I always encourage breast milk for 6 months which increase your baby immunity
User:if it is insufficient then day time may be once we can give formula feed na is it ok?
Doctor:After feed take baby on your shoulder and tap over the back of baby for burp

User:even then he is restless and makes sounds as if it is indigestion

User:His weight at birth was 2.5 kgs and now it is 4.4 kgs so the growth is correct na

User:no still the same condition whole night resteless and some sounds and doesnt sleep ... if we take in lap he looks comfortable and if we keep in bed he is not
Doctor:If baby has cold you can instil nasal saline drops one droop in each nostril

Doctor:according to your explanation it may due related to breathing

User:Yes we dont switch on fan and that village area is not cold as well its near to XXXXXXX much warm weather than XXXXXXX
Doctor:make him upright position and it he can easily breath
User:So nothing serious na doctor. yes I will use upright position doctor
Doctor:Since your pediatrician said no issues after clinical examination so need not worry
Doctor:You can give gripe water for digestion
