User:my son XXXX who is 3 years old now

User:from last one week during night in sleep, he is bitting his teeth and making sound

User:I am concerned, what do you think about it
Doctor:Ok, i would like to know any recent illness or fever?
User:yes he had fever two weeks back, we consulted a Doctor. He gave some medicines and he doesn't any fever

User:but he has cold now

Doctor:any nasal blockage?
User:yes he has some nasal blockage
Doctor:Have you noticed difficulty in sleep?
Doctor:sorry difficulty in breathing during sleep?
User:yes he is not having sound sleep from last one week. gets up in between, sometimes cries and goes back to sleep
Doctor:I think because of cold he is not able to sleep which is causing some breathing difficulty hence he wakes up and cries
Doctor:I would suggest you NASOCLEAR nasal saline drops

Doctor:Instill 2 drops in each nostril 4-5 times a day especially instill before bed
Doctor:give steam inhalation before bed which relives nasal blockage

User:I am worried about bitting his teeth hard in sleep and sound

Doctor:Sound due to nasal blockage and bitting mostly because cold which irritates him during sleep

Doctor:It can be caused by fear or stress

Doctor:Bruxism can be due to illness, nutritional deficiency or mental stress
Doctor:Do some body massage and stretching exercises before bed

Doctor:Some times dehydration can cause it so make sure that baby well hydrated, sometimes because of cold parents do not give water
Doctor:Yes but not now wait for few days
Doctor:Observe him until cold resolves and mainatain hydration, if it happens again and again then visit adentist

Doctor:1.5 ml Once a day
