Doctor:He is more than 1 year old and he can safely get the tests done

Doctor:blood tests to be done to rule out common conditions
Doctor:The tests can include hemoglobin, Serum iron levels, hemogram, complete blood count, fasting blood glucose levels, serum calcium levels, ser vit D levels. Ser Vit B12 levels
Doctor:Apart from this other tests like liver function tets, BUN, Ser Creatinine, tHYROID PROFILE CAN BE DONE
Doctor:After getting these tests done, we can start him on some vitamin and iron supplements
Doctor:Also he may take high calorie food to gain the lost weight
Doctor:Can you tell me his weight?
User:aprox 9.3kg
Doctor:Give me a min to check his percentile on chart
Doctor:He is at 30th percentile for his age

User:our dr is itself ped gasteroenterologist, he told your baby is quite active so u need not to worry regarding the weight. and sir we also fell that our baby is so much naughty he can't seat for a single min. he always roming.
Doctor:Thus I am not really concerned at present, but he should not lose weight in future
Doctor:What was his weight at birth/
User:yes sir.
Doctor:What was his weight at birth?
User:it was 3.4 kg
Doctor:So he is going down the percentiles on the growth chart
Doctor:You do need to take care of his weight
User:ok sir
User:ans ame to our Dr and ask for blood test.
Doctor:Let us get the tests done to see if he is lacking in some nutrients
User:means we should again consult to dietician .
Doctor:Not the dietician
Doctor:But the pediatrician
Doctor:You may followup with dietician regularly otherwise
Doctor:Do you have any question here?
User:ok sir thanks for ur suggestion we will follow the same.
User:thanks Good night.
Doctor:Just another piece of advice
User:yes please
Doctor:Give him food every 3 hours and do not force food
Doctor:Go easy on milk
Doctor:Only 500 ml milk is needed in a day for a 1 yr old
User:ok sir. thanks
Doctor:Thanks for consulting
Doctor:Take care
User:but our dietician suggest for not more than 350ml of milk in a day
Doctor:That is the average
Doctor:Mostly it is hard to keep the kid away from milk
User:so we follow for 300-350 ml of milk in a day
User:yes sir u r right.
Doctor:That is good
Doctor:That is why I usually go for 500 ml
Doctor:The best rule is to first offer solid food
Doctor:and then water
Doctor:Give milk only 2 - 4 times a day
User:ok sir we will take care of ur advise.
User:thanks a lot
Doctor:Thank for consulting me
