User:Thank you. I have been having dual pain in both lower abdomen inside eash one of my hips. It is not enough to wake me up in the night but I wake with it each day. I've had a hysterectomy at age 48 and am now 62. It is in the same general area as where my follopian tubes would have been. Also, my urine has been quite dark first thing in the morning which is a change. No health insurance here and would appreciate your ideas. Thank you much.
Doctor:Hi
User:hi, Doctor.
Doctor:I have gone through your question
Doctor:Can you tell me, since when you are having this pain?
User:I have had it for at least a month. It's not so painful that it prevents me from anything.
Doctor:okay
Doctor:I am sorry to hear that
Doctor:have you had any other symptoms at all?
User:It's just inside and below my hip bones on either side. The left is more painful.
Doctor:okay
Doctor:It could possibly mean an urinary tract infection
User:I was in the ER about two years ago and had a CAT scan. They thought it might be kidney related but found nothing. That episode was excrusciating. They prescibe heavy meds.
User:I have no pain going to the bathroom, does it make a difference?
Doctor:oh okay
Doctor:Yes, it means, it is unlikely to be urinary infection
Doctor:There are many possible reasons for this pain
Doctor:You said you have had a hysterectomy done
User:Can it have anthing to do with my intestines?
User:Yes, hysterectomy was done 15 years ago.
Doctor:Yes, most likely to be intestines as you don't have a uterus
Doctor:and it does not sound like bladder related either
Doctor:so that leaves us with intestines
Doctor:probably diverticulosis
User:I wondered about that. I had my last colonoscopy about 2 years ago. Should I see a doctor?
Doctor:Yes, I am sorry to say, but you will need to see a doctor
Doctor:I can understand that it will be difficult since you do not have insurance
Doctor:unfortunately, there is nothing much I can do without being able to examine you personally
User:Will do. Thank you.We will make it work. Great service, you are providing!
Doctor:we would have to first diagnose you properly
Doctor:You are most welcome
Doctor:I hope everything will be fine soon
Doctor:take care
