User:recently like from past 2 months i had been having neck pain
User:so i consulted a orthopadic doc
User:took x ray and mri scan
User:where it was shown that i have disc degeneration
User:due to which i was adviced to take ultracet and nexpro and nervijen
User:but ultracet didnt suit me as i had lots of vomits and stomach upset
User:so he gave me etoshine
User:its been 2 days now that i have been taking medicaiton
User:i m feeling lil better
User:along with physio
User:but my periods r very scanty
User:it juss started
User:not sure is it coz of the medicaiton
Doctor:The medications that you are on has no direct relation to menstruation.
User:ofcourse from past 4 months my periods lasts for only 2 days

Doctor:However some of my patients have reported reduced flow while on antiinflammatory drugs.
Doctor:Etoshine has antiinflammatory actions
Doctor:At this point of time, I don't see any reasons to be concerned about.
Doctor:Please continue the drugs as instructed.
User:so once i stop this should be fine right
Doctor:I expect you to be fine and should have normal period subsequently.

Doctor:As such degenerative changes in the neck is a very common finding.
Doctor:We seen those in lot many people at this age.
Doctor:It may or may not be the cause of pain.
Doctor:The neck muscle and soft tissue around the spine could have been inflammed leading to the pain.
Doctor:Therefore those antinflammatory drugs.
User:i m actually unable to sit for long
Doctor:You should follow up with the doctor the treatment.
User:not more than 30 to 40 min
Doctor:He/she will be able to evaluate the neck problem when pain has considerably reduced.
Doctor:As I mentioned in my previous reply, it is not uncommon to see degenerative changes on scans at this age.\

Doctor:We arrive at a diagnosis after correlating scan findings with clinical examination finding.
Doctor:therefore I will insist you see follow up with the doctor once the pain is off.
