User:Hello doctor
Please proceed with your query
User:my mother had tongue cancer and she was operated in XXXXXXX last yr for the same
User:we are doing follow up scan every 3 months and everything was normal
Doctor:Ok, How is she now?
User:so doctor informed us we can do a scan now every 4 months
User:we were supposed to do the scan this month
User:but my father's operation is scheduled next week
User:so we consulted with her doc if we can do it next month
Doctor:Is she having any recurrence of symptoms, or any trouble at all?
User:today she was having a dry mouth
User:and headache
User:and feeling weak
User:and now she is saying her throat is hurting
User:the doctor we consult for her is at another city
User:what should we do
Doctor:Then get her seen by the ENT doctor and get the scan done early
User:we are very worried
Doctor:All she needs to do is see a good ENT doc
User:ENT will do
Doctor:Yup, this is their speciality
User:or need to consult a specialist only
Doctor:ENT's are specialists.
User:can we get the scan done anywer
User:or we need to take her to the same hospital wer she was operated
Doctor:Sure, but see the doc first
Doctor:That would be a good idea
User:it means we shud get her treated at the same hospital wer she was operated
User:why do these symptoms arise
User:is it cause of any recurrence
User:Dr. are you there
Doctor:It could be an infection
Doctor:or minor inflammation
User:oh ok
User:but are these symptoms related to a recurrence
User:we are very worried
User:she is not having fever also
Doctor:No, generally recurrences are involved with a new ulcer or tumor
User:actually since the tablets she is having is leaving a burning sensation in the she is having a little amount of ice-cram everyday
User:but she is not having a cold also
Doctor:I think the best would be for her to be examined. No need to imagine things until then
User:i do not have any query
User:thank you
Doctor:Thanks for visiting me here. Bye for now.
