User:Hi Doc,

I am now a days frequently spraining my knee. The reason is nothing specifically. Just in a casual walk. That knee is the same where i had got leg injury 5 years back due to accident.
Please proceed with your query
Doctor:Please get a review x-ray of the knee joint done
User:Can you please tell what might be reason for frequent spraining of knee
Doctor:it could be ligament or meniscal tear
User:I have got X ray done. No problem with bone or ligament
Doctor:Have you shown the x-ray to an orthopedician?
Doctor:or joint replacement surgeon?
User:That doc suggested me to get MRI done...Yes i showed to an Orthopedician
Doctor:which doc advised you for MRI?
User:But he said me that it might be due to my weight also
Doctor:Is it the orthopedician who advised MRI?
User:So said me to try reducing weight especially thigh so that pressure on knee is reduced
User:Yes last weekend ortho doc said me to get MRI done..
User:So i wanted to ask your opinion too before going forward
Doctor:Then, I would suggest that you follow the orhtopedician advise and get the MRI done
Doctor:what is your current weight?
User:But my height is 5' feet
Doctor:you are not extremely overweight
Doctor:so that may not be the cause for your pain
Doctor:I would suggest that you get the MRI of the knee done
User:Ok thank you
