User:Hi doctor
Doctor:Please proceed with your query
Doctor:Are you there?
User:Yeah im a small query.most of the time ma tummy is not well. i have frequent burps n in the morning time while brushing i feel very pukish
Doctor:Does it occur only in the morning?
User:yeah mostly morning
Doctor:Do you snore?
User:yeah sumtimes..
Doctor:Let me brief you.
Doctor:Occasional burping and nausea early in the morning
Doctor:doesn't signify serious health problem.
Doctor:Perhaps you may be breathing lot of air into your stomach while sleeping
Doctor:those come out as burps.
Doctor:Alternatively you may be facing minor acid reflux through the night
Doctor:leading to burps and nausea.
Doctor:I would suggest you to eat your dinner atleast 2 hours before you sleep.
Doctor:Take some antacids like gelusil for few days.
Doctor:And try sleeping on sides (instead of supine) position
Doctor:and see if it improves.
Doctor:Even if you don't find any changes, no need to be worried.
Doctor:Have you followed?
Doctor:Do you have any questions?
User:yeah..jus a sec
User:shud i take antacids before or after food
Doctor:Half an hour before food is better.
Doctor:Thrice a day for couple of weeks.
User:so how many tablets per day.? or shud i go with the syrup
Doctor:5ml syrup would be better.
User:3 times a day
User:1 table spoon
Doctor:That should be fine.
Doctor:Do you have any more queries?
User:and nowdays mostly i feel very lethargic and sluggish
User:is it due to ma life style
Doctor:Life style affects to some extent.
Doctor:But if the lethargy and drowsiness is significant and it affects your day to day activities
Doctor:then we need to rule out other causes too.\
User:but i dont feel fresh n energetic in ma day 2 day work
User:dat was not da case 6-7 months back..
Doctor:It would be difficult to identify what other parameters could be causing this lethargy.
User:i feel as if im deprive of sleep
Doctor:you can get a basic work up of your complete blood count, serum electrolytes, liver function, renal function as well as thyroid hormone checked.
Doctor:* add vitamin b12 check too.
Doctor:If you are not sleeping well, the lack of sleep will be my first cause.
User:n i had a history of jaundice
Doctor:However as I said earlier, if the symptoms are very significant and affecting you badly,
Doctor:it would be worthwhile to get the afore mentioned tests. Blood sugar check is also part of it.
Doctor:Alternatively you can go for basic health check up at a laboratory which has most of these tests
Doctor:Do you have any more questions?
User:and can u just be a more specific..
User:is it mandate to do all the tests.
User:is it necessary to do all the test.!!
Doctor:Without a physical examination I cannot really appreciate how much the lethargy and drowsiness is clinically present.
Doctor:hence i pass this decision to y ou.
User:can i cum n c u
Doctor:Deprived sleep can cause some amount of lethargy and drowsiness.
Doctor:Instead of meeting me, I would suggest you meet a general physician close by.
Doctor:He/she can narrow down the list of test (if at all they are absolutely necessary).
Doctor:Hope it is clear.
Doctor:Do you have any other questions?\
User:as of now i dont..
User:but i can chat with you again
User:if i want to.
Doctor:you can come back on chat.
Doctor:I will be available on most days between 10 am to 4 pm.
