User:I am XXXXXXX . I had one a pregnancy test on 4.7.2014 and result was positive. One 7.7.2014 , I started bleeding and I visited a gynaec and had a scan as well
User:The scan result was as - No Sac , thick endometrium
Doctor:There are two possibilities here.
Doctor:1. The test result was false positive and the bleeding you had was a normal period.
Doctor:2. You had a miscarriage.
Doctor:Was a blood hCG level done?
User:The bleeding lasted for about a day , usually it is atleast 3 days
User:No.
User:doctor has advised me to take Dubagest SR 200 , one tablet everyday for 2 weeks
Doctor:In this case I would have tested blood hCG levels
Doctor:if they are risen (above 5)
Doctor:it indicates that you conceived.
User:My another concern is that on 7.7.2014 after I started bleeding i thought I had a miscarriage and visited general doctor since I had bad cold and fever. So i have taken some cold and fever tablets for 2 days as well
Doctor:Dubagest is a progesterone drugs that is used to sustain pregnancy.
Doctor:Its the same medication that I informed you the other day on chat.
Doctor:You can continue it and check with the doctor if you should get hCG levels done.
Doctor:Those cold and fever tablets will not have significant effects on baby.
Doctor:Not to worry about it.
