User:hi Dr
Doctor:How can I help?
User:am planning for pregnancy
User:doc has suggested me ubiphene N and primeova
User:as today is my 3rd day
User:first is i wanted to understand any side effects wid this?
User:r there any?
Doctor:Ubiphene has clomiphene
Doctor:Yes all medicines have one or another side effect
Doctor:As far as clomiphene is concerned , there are some like
User:some like?
Doctor:Abdominal pain, bloating, blurred vision, breast discomfort, ovarian enlargement, multiple pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy risk, vomiting, headache, vertigo etc
User:discomforts are fine, just tht i hope it does not hamper the pregnancy capabilities in future
Doctor:Well it does not hamper in future pregnancies
Doctor:It is given if you are not producing eggs
User:i do produce eggs
Doctor:Clomiphene is meant to induce ovulation
Doctor:So why was it prescribed
User:just tht am 37 and have to go wid planned follicular monitoring is why have been suggested
Doctor:Follicular monitoring can be done on normal follicles that were induced by natural hormonal rhythms
User:follicular monitoring without taking this medicine or stimulation is fine?
Doctor:Follicular monitoring is a type of ultrasound that monitors the development of ovum and its follicle
User:since ovulation is not as nbad she has prescribed 50 mg
Doctor:I believe in natural pregnancy
Doctor:If that is not possible then medicines may be taken
Doctor:About your second medicine primeova, I have not heard of this medicine
Doctor:Can you tell me the chemical constituent of it?
User:u suggest at my age to keep trying naturally
Doctor:It depends
Doctor:For how long have you tried?
User:see i have got operated in sept for intramural fibroids
User:i have one big one near the cervix whch thy dont suggest removal since sensitive area
User:and as per thm tht position does not hapmer
User:and am polycystic also
User:but regular cycles
User:after my surgery last month was my first follicular monitoring
User:everything happened well
Doctor:Was that without medicines?
User:follicle size 24, ruptured on 13th night
User:tried on 13th and 14th nite
User:fertomid 50 mg
Doctor:ok you were on fertomid 50
User:ya beacuse she suggessted taking 2-3 cycles of stimulation
User:wht can go wrong if things were so full proof
Doctor:Sometimes it is a matter of chance
User:did all, like lying for one hr will pillow below my hips as well
Doctor:Not all get pregnant during the first cycle
Doctor:That is why doctors try for a few cycles
User:so i was actually skeptical tht shud i try without stimulation in second cycle
Doctor:Yes you can always try without medicines and go for routine follicular monitoring
Doctor:You can discuss this option with your treating doctor
Doctor:Though she may emphasize follicular stimulation as it has more chances of succeeding
User:is it tht i might miss pregnancy due to these stimulations rather
Doctor:Not really
Doctor:It helps in getting pregnant, not the other way round
User:as per u cud be the reasons for not concieb=ving even after wht all measures i told u
Doctor:The reason could have the fibroid, but the doctors ruled it out
User:wht cud be the reasons i mean
Doctor:So the only reason could be purely due to chance
User:k, so how many cycles of stimulation u suggest
Doctor:doctor has already suggested atleast 3 cycles
Doctor:I will agree with her
User:she gives me hucog also on 12th day, thn proluton after trials every week
User:thn tabs like nacfil, argipreg, progynova etc for better lining
User:sometimes i feel too many things like this, i hope does not hamper rather
Doctor:Yes medicines can have side effects
Doctor:Please discuss with your doctor if these many medicines are really needed
Doctor:Since if you are getting normal ovulation without medicines and your uterine lining is also normal
Doctor:Then you do not need assistance with medicines
User:ovulation i can still knw with strips
User:how abt lining
Doctor:It can be seen on ultrasound
User:k quick question
Doctor:yes please
User:am not getting uniphene or promeova
User:fertomid, syphene or fertyl is wht am getting
User:which is best out of these 3
Doctor:Let me check the companies
Doctor:I could not find the company of fertyl
Doctor:fertomid and syphene are from reputed companies
User:wht is better abt unphene N
Doctor:fertomid can be taken
User:doc is recommending tht saying purer form
Doctor:I personally think that all medicines are the same if they are coming from reputed compaies
User:will catch up wid u soon
