User :   i have fatty bulge on my legs, upper back of them, the right is bigger than the left , what can i do to lose that weight and trim them up

Doctor :   May I know her height and weight ?
User :   5'6" currently 200lbs
Doctor :   Ok.
Doctor :   Her BMI Stands at 32.3, which is roughly 9.3 points above the normal BMI,
User :   i am trying to eat better and drink lots of water, i also use my eliptical machine 4-5 times a week
User :   a week
Doctor :   That is good.
Doctor :   She is moderately obese and she might have to loose at least a 50 pounds.
User :   what else will help with that, what are the best foods ie: vegies, fruits to help

Doctor :   Let me help you out with a diet regimen and exercise patterns for that ;

Doctor :   1. Every morning you have to start with at least one litre of water just as soon as you get up from bed.

Doctor :   2. After you finish freshing up , need to take two spoons of honey in 250ml of warm water which cleanses your intestines and gut.
Doctor :   if you want a flavour of lemon, you can add a pinch of pure lemon extract to that.

Doctor :   3. Start your day with a nice spread of breakfast with fruits and veggies which have low calorie index like : Doctor :   Apple, gauva,black grapes,kiwi fruit,lychies,oranges,papayya,pineapple and water melon.
Doctor :   Please try to avoid bananas,plums,straw berries,plantains,cherries.
Doctor :   Have lots of lettuce,spinach,tomato,french beans,broccoli and fenugreek and all beans.
Doctor :   Sprouts would do a lot of help.
Doctor :   Please avoid potatoes, and other rooty or starch rich veggies.

Doctor :   5. Please make your breakfast lunch or dinner more attractive by different menu plans.

Doctor :   2. if her health permits she can go for some out door cyckling , which reduces exces fat in hamstrings and thighs and buttocks.

Doctor :   I would advise the following yoga asnas : Doctor :   1. Padahasthasana.
Doctor :   2. Utthanasana

User :   what's good for the flabby underarm (triceps)
Doctor :   especially on the right side would be side specific and reduce the flabbiness on right side.

Doctor :   it is specific for arms and triceps.
User :   ok, and i had a couple of questions about our son as well
Doctor :   I would suggets a wonderful research study that is going on now and is improving holisyic health - suryanamaskars..
User :   he is 9 years old in march, aprrox 4 ft and weighs about 100lbs or so
Doctor :   There are a lot of yoga schools that will help you out.
User :   he has a large tummy and not alot of desire to exercise
Doctor :   He is just 30.5, he is not obese.
Doctor :   but may be overweight.
User :   he would rather play video games

Doctor :   Just interst him more in outdoor games and sports.
User :   should he eat the same as what you have suggested to me
Doctor :   Take him more for some baseball and soccer matches and in a short while he will develop interest.
Doctor :   I think that would be too much for him, he is young lad.
User :   but should i cut out starchy foods
Doctor :   might be thrice a week, the food you take would help him out.
User :   add more fiber
Doctor :   Just inspire him in some tough outdoor sport he may shell down in no time - not more than 3 months.
Doctor :   Yes that would be right.
Doctor :   Please make juices , fruits and veggies or fiber diet more palatable and attractive.
User :   does it make a difference to feed him early like at 4:30 - 5:00 and put him to bed by 8:30 - 9
Doctor :   May be the dinner table must look more inspiring .
User :   ok i can try that
Doctor :   Yes, but 5 would be too early, may be 6-7.30 pm will be fine.
Doctor :   otherwise he may feel hungry in teh middle of teh night.
Doctor :   early dinners are always helpful.
User :   he drinks water if he wakes up at all, he has a bottle by his bed
Doctor :   That is very good.
User :   and at his age how much water should he be intaking
User :   and milk
Doctor :   I would suggest 4-5 lts .
Doctor :   if he is playing and loosing water and sweating a lot , more than that.
Doctor :   he would loose on an average 3-5 pounds a month, if he follows the regime.
User :   ok
Doctor :   and the best thing would be to go on a cycling once/twicw a week for a long 5 miles , it would be helpful for everyone and make it more joyful.
User :   yes but we have so much snow right now, does the eliptical help
User :   or swimming
Doctor :   Yes eleptical , swimming and static cycling.
Doctor :   Or floor exercises - 1. floor cycling
User :   oh ok, haven't done that for years
Doctor :   2. lifting the legs straight and keeping them raised at 30 degrees.
Doctor :   and alternatively raising it to 60 degrees.
Doctor :   This would be the best for tummy trimmming and legs.
Doctor :   I would suggest to use a soft towel or pillow behind her spine to give your spine relief.
