User :   I am a 55 year old woman. I have a painful, possibly infected labia minor on the lower left side. It has been hurting (burning and stinging) for about 2 weeks. I am now putting triple antibacterial ointment which eases the stinging. It is not an open wound, but is dry without the cream. It is about half an inch long, red and swollen. I have a yearly appointment w/ my gyn in 9 days.
User :   I am no longer sexually active.
User :   My last period was 6 years ago, I think.
Doctor :   Hi

Doctor :   Ok.
User :   I will try to buy it OTC
Doctor :   In case it does not get better in 2/3 days , you have to start on oral antibiotics for which you will be needing a prescription.
Doctor :   But i would say it would get better, after these steps of treatment.
User :   I think that I will live. It is annoying, but I can tolerate it. Maybe it will heal soon. I hope
