User :   so the mice and rats we have here dont have the virus
Doctor :   It is not seen to spread through guinea pigs.
User :   yes s0o could i get that from my guniea pigs as have to clean there cage out 2 times a week
Doctor :   I doubt about spreading of hanta virus through guinea pigs, well they could be other fungal infections spread through the excreta.
Doctor :   The symptoms you present like breathlessness and tight chest could also be a fungal or bacterial infection.
Doctor :   Do you have any associated symptoms along with breathlessness.
User :   so u dont know iff hanta virus spread from guniea pigs
User :   i have 6 female guniea pigs and 2 males
Doctor :   Guinea pigs do not transmit Hanta virus, so there is no chances of you getting infected by hanta virus due to guinea pigs.
User :   what about from there pooing and weeing

Doctor :   The symptoms of Hanta virus like fever with chills and diarrhea, malaise, headaches, abdominal pain and back pain along with respiratory problems due show up after 2 to 3 weeks after exposure.
Doctor :   it is difficult for hanta virus as its not present in Australia but can spread other viral infections.
User :   ok thanbks heaps for that
Doctor :   It would be better to see a General physician as you require few investigations to come to a conclusion about the condition.
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me.
