User :   I just found out I have genital herpes and I dont know any details... COuld I of had this for awhile and not known or gave it to anyone? I had a severe mouth infection on the inside with sores inside mouth mostly on tongue was put on Valtrex for that,,, could this be latter of that? can I still have oral sex?

User :   Can you have the mouth part as bad as I did and have genital but never know you had genital till you have an outbreak? It wasnt just your average cold sore

Doctor :   yes the genetial herpes causes warts in the genital region and if the people are indulged in oral sex than they can get the warts and infection of the throat from the genital herpes
User :   So because I have this,,, I cant get oral sex without giving this to someone even if I am not having an outbreak?
Doctor :   if the other partner is vaccinated against the infection than he will be protected against the infection
