User :   I have been having my upper arms ache at night when I lay down
Doctor :   MAY I KNOW UR AGE AND weight ?
Doctor :   and how long have u had this issue ?
User :   I am 59 and my weight is 235
User :   I have had this issue for about 1 month
Doctor :   how did this start ?
Doctor :   was there nat history of trauma ?
User :   i played alot of golf up until november and at first I thought that might be it But it continues
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   so u just have pain, when u move the arms , is this right ?
User :   No not pain just an aching in the upper arm at night when I am trying to sleep my right arm hurts if I lift it to high
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   you seem to be having tendinitis of the shoulder joint
Doctor :   it is due to injury or inflammtion of the shoulder joint tendons
Doctor :   this is a very slow healing but benign condition
Doctor :   which will heal within a few weeks
Doctor :   you will benefit by heat application, rest to the affected arm, and a arm splint to reduce movements and stabilize the joint
Doctor :   also try ibuprofen for the pain, as and when u need

Doctor :   if it does not improve or it worsens , you may consider getting an MRI to get a clear picture and for proper evaluation
