User :   i am 24 year male from . lately i have been having uneasiness in left part of chest
Doctor :   ok. please describe the symptoms in detail
User :   i can feel my heart beating, and sometimes i feel anxious and numbness in my legs and hands
User :   taking deep breath solves the problem for a while
User :   i have been smoking for 2 years, but have stopped now
Doctor :   is the heart beat fast? is there sweating and breathing trouble associated at the time of discomfort?
User :   hear beat is fast at times not always, no sweating but when i lie down straight i feel short of breath,
Doctor :   is there burning sensation in chest? is there belching, burping, flatulence, upper stomach discomfort associated?
User :   the first day i had a burning sensation, i felt too much gas formation inside me
Doctor :   is there nausea, vomiting, problems with passing motion associated?

Doctor :   do these tend to get worse after heavy or fatty/spicy meal?
User :   typically while sleeping
User :   uhmm.. after heavy meal

Doctor :   is there chest tightness associated when you lie down straight?
User :   ya exactly
User :   but only the left part of the chest
Doctor :   i would suggest you to stat with taking Tab Prilosec once daily on empty stomach in morning for a week
Doctor :   if symptoms improve, continue it for next 15 days

User :   but i am worried, can it be a heart or lung problem?
Doctor :   if the symptoms do not improve, then go ahead with an ECG examination when symptoms are worse
Doctor :   the ECG and x-ray done at the time when symptoms are worse would help in seeing if the symptoms are due to heart or lung issue

Doctor :   avoid keeping stomach empty for more than 3 hours at a stretch
Doctor :   except when you are sleeping
User :   will do that
Doctor :   avoid eating anything before 1 n 1./2 hour before sleeping at night
Doctor :   avoid citrus fruits, avoid potato, cabbage, cauliflower, spicy, oily food
Doctor :   stick to bland and easily digestible foods
Doctor :   drink plenty of water
Doctor :   avoid tea, coffee, caffeinated and soda drinks
