User :   Dr My Father is Suffering from TYpe 2 Diabeties and recently being adviced for initial symptoms of kidney damage with Creatinine 2.9 mg%

User :   73 years , XXX, 5' 2 '' , 65 kg heart slight blockage

User :   hemoglobin 10.1 gms/100cc
User :   cholesterol was slighltly high while bllod pressure was always normal

Doctor :   with a abdominal ultrasound and further special tests for the kidney after consultation with a nephrologist.
Doctor :   and in the meantime, let be on a ow sugar, low potassium diet.
User :   is the kidney damage recoverable at this stage
Doctor :   give him a normal diet but with less oil and protein, the food should be easily digestible
Doctor :   the ultrasound and the kidney biospy can tell how much damage is actually happened
