Doctor :   The bone density scan is not very bad

Doctor :   It shows changes a bit more than normal for her age

Doctor :   Still, the bone scan is not convincing enough for her to undergo TKR
Doctor :   You can give her adequate calcium supplements for her bones
User :   Unfortunately to give temporary relief to this pain... she was suggested a steroid (not known to us till recent) by our local doc
User :   Though the doc had mentioned to take the med only for SOS

Doctor :   it is what I have studied from and also from patients pain
Doctor :   I would say this because, i know that the surgery wont help your mother much
Doctor :   It may not even relieve her pain
