User :   I am 24 yrs old and 9 weeks pregnant. I need to clarify some doubts in my pregnancy scan report.

User :   in my scan report, they found no CIL cyst in both ovaries and asked me to take Duphaston harmone tablet.
User :   is it safe to take ?

User :   I am taking Thyronorm 100 mcg.

User :   after 7 weeks of my pregnancy. will it affect my baby's brain growth?

User :   i just started to take thyroid tablet, after 7 weeks.
User :   doctor asked me to reduce dosage, and yesterday onwards i started to take 50 mcg only.
User :   100 mcg is given by other doctor and one another doctor asked me to take 50 mcg only.

User :   which is fine? i am confused.
Doctor :   he is titrating the dose depending on the physical examination and the needs

User :   nov 8th test was done. form nov 9th i took 100 mcg in empty stomach and from yesterday, 50 mcg.

Doctor :   and once the meds were started, did u have any symptoms ?
User :   yes she saw the thyrid test result and then prescribed medicines.
User :   what kind of symptoms?
Doctor :   like tremors, or anxiety, sleeplessness , etc ?
Doctor :   the high TSH & LOW T3 levels induced your doctor to start with a higher dose initially to maintain the hormone levels in the blood
Doctor :   once the levels become normallised
Doctor :   he started with a maintainance dosage with a lower dose
Doctor :   this is a standard protocol
User :   no. i am always feeling sleepy and tired. i do not know its because of thyroid or pregnancy
Doctor :   Its a combination of both
Doctor :   low thyroid levels can cause sleepiness and lethargy
User :   ok. so I have low thyroid level?
Doctor :   yes
User :   ok. Is it serious?
Doctor :   high TSH , means thyroid levels are low
Doctor :   not seroius now since treatment has been started
