User :   Hi my daugter has been running a temp of 104 all day even when I gave her a fever reducer, should I be concerned?

User :   She is 10 yrs old
Doctor :   104 degree temp more than 24 hours inspite of fever reducing medicine, should be concerned about
User :   The lowest dropped to was 103.2
Doctor :   Let me tell you how to proceed
Doctor :   You should try with normal water sponging, once every 1 hour
Doctor :   The fever medicines should have worked till 102 degree
Doctor :   We should see that the temperature should get lesser than 102
Doctor :   with normal temperature water sponging
Doctor :   If not, it is advised to go to ER and get Injections
Doctor :   and constant monitoring
