Doctor :   hi
User :   hi doc
Doctor :   How may I help you?
User :   doc...i got a small problem with fingers of my foot
Doctor :   please proceed
Doctor :   You mean to say toes.
User :   there is some white moist peeling skin in between of my toes
Doctor :   how long have you had this problem
User :   i suspect tht this is problem called athelete's foot
Doctor :   Do you have itching ,redness, and skin excoriation in b/w your toes?
User :   since 1 yr...n its not continuous...some it cures itself..n sometimes it appears again
User :   yeah..i feel itch n moisture as well
Doctor :   have you taken any treatment for this?
Doctor :   ok, I guess you have tinea pedis infection, a fungus
User :   not exactly...i used self medication like used itchguard
User :   so what u suggest???
Doctor :   itchguard does not help in tinea
Doctor :   this is a relapsing infection
User :   okk
Doctor :   i would suggest using a good shoe, and change your socks regularly
Doctor :   presence of moisture causes the infection to occur
User :   yeah..i follow the same suit but still the problem persist
User :   can u suggest me some medication for the same
Doctor :   also try applying powders like nyceril
User :   ok
User :   any ointment?
Doctor :   also
Doctor :   Use a method to soak the leg in..
Doctor :   Buy shoes that are leather or another breathable material. Shoe materials, such as vinyl, that don't breathe cause your feet to remain moist, providing an excellent area for the fungus to breed. Likewise, absorbent socks like cotton that wick water away from your feet may help.
Doctor :   Powders Lotrimin or Tinactin, can help keep your feet dry
Doctor :   A homemade remedy of dilute white vinegar soaks using 1 part vinegar and roughly 4 parts water, once or twice a day as 10 min foot soaks may help.
Doctor :   if these dont help , then use fluconazole cream, twice daily for upto 4 weeks
Doctor :   Are you following my advice?
User :   yeah..i'm
User :   thanks doc.
Doctor :   try these things, and you will find some relief
User :   sure..thanks a lot. have a nice day.
Doctor :   thanks for consulting me
Doctor :   bye for now
