User :   no i have reading glasses.... no always good blood pressure and no diabetes
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Let me brief you.
Doctor :   Based on your description of your symptoms, I can think of the possible conditions that may be responsible for your current problem
Doctor :   1. Aggravation of your previous chronic headaches
Doctor :   2. Refractive errror changes
Doctor :   3 Sinusitis
Doctor :   4. Rare possibilities are glaucoma, and other inflammation.
User :   i have never had chronic headaches only today... i hardly ever have head aches..
Doctor :   5. If these possibilities can be ruled out, then it may be a somatic pain secondary to psychological factors.
Doctor :   Let me suggest you few measures that should help you.
User :   ok
Doctor :   1. Good and regular sleep
Doctor :   2. Use local antiinflammatory medications such as ibuprofen 200mg stat dose and then twice daily for next 2 - 3 days
Doctor :   3. Watch out for few symptoms such as blurring of vision, severe headaches, vomiting, fever, redness of eye and so on.
Doctor :   If you notice any of such symptoms you will need to consult an ophthalmologist.
Doctor :   4. Since changes in refractory errors can also cause such symptoms, if your symptoms are persisting in the next few days,
Doctor :   I will also recommend you to get your vision checked again.
User :   so it would be the eye.. even though the pain feels as though its behind the eye
Doctor :   Refractory errors can cause muscular pain due to the straining
User :   ok
Doctor :   this strain of the muscles can occur as pain behind the eye.
Doctor :   Hence my suggestions for ophthalmic evaluation and vision tests.
User :   ok
Doctor :   Lastly, if there are stressors involved,
User :   no
Doctor :   Good stress managment and physical exercises, can help, if the causes are somatic.
