User :i was recently diagnosed as depressed but thats not all. it feels like my brain is on slow motion it gets harder every day. i don't believe its the depression medicine doing it because i just got on it 2 days ago. i was taking concerta for a while and i was taking a high mg. i am worried. i feel like i can't even function anymore.

User :   it has been getting worse and worse since high school
Doctor :   so you are unable to concentrate and keep your focus ?

User :   yes even when i was on the concerta
User :   well i just started zoloft like about 2 days ago
User :   i do smoke cigarettes
User :   i have since i was about 16
User :   it keeps sending me out of the chat
Doctor :   ok first of all i must tell you that Zoloft to work will take minimum of 2 weeks of continues dose. this is done so that the right amount in you blood is achieved for it to show any effect

User :   seriously i feel like i am losing my mind

User :   well that is what the pyschiotrist said also i really needed a second opinion

Doctor :   what i can do is to tell you few things what will help you to get the focus back in your life
User :   i have been taking vitamins and 2 fishoil pills a day and it feels like my brain is numb
Doctor :   1) Creating a purpose filled life.
User :   yeah definitely don't have that
Doctor :   2) Creating a dynamic vision for your future
Doctor :   Getting into the right vibration once in a while means feeling good once in a while. But living your life on fire and charging yourself on a consistent basis requires something more. It requires something more than ordinary.
Doctor :   It requires purpose and vision. To generate a real solid foundation to your emotional well being you need to know your path as well as your destination.
User :   everytime i try and set a goal or even try to perform basic tasks i collapse due to an overwhelming feeling
Doctor :   The other half comes from your vision. Your purpose must be fueled with a destination.
Doctor :   If your life purpose is the course you take, then your vision is the magnet that pulls you along that course. Your vision sets the destination.
User :   i don't know what a practical destination. it feels like my vision is selfish
Doctor :   dont worry stay positive
Doctor :   trust me its all IN YOUR HANDS
Doctor :   Start to build a beautiful picture in your mind. Start to get emotionally involved in that picture and start to act and move toward that picture every day.
User :   i know, but i feel alone in all my thoughts
User :   a picture never really tried
User :   i am writing this down
Doctor :   It's much easier to be positive when you are eating well, exercising, and getting enough rest. Learning to let go of anger, resentment and negative feelings will also help us to stay more focused and healthy.

Doctor :   have faith in your self
User :   i feel like i can't do it on my own
Doctor :   and you will be out of this in no time
Doctor :   it takes time
Doctor :   and i am sure you will do well
Doctor :   Your thoughts can't hold any power over you if you don't judge them. If you notice yourself having a negative thought, detach from it, witness it, and don't follow it. I recently heard someone say, that rejection isn't real, it is our imaginary perception of an event we have experienced. The next time you feel rejected, remind yourself you have the power to change that perception, and thus change the feeling as well.
