User :   hi every time i spit i have a trace of blood in saliva

User :   three days straight everytime i spit saliva there is a trace of it

User :   i have an appointment on monday should i wait im afraid im losing alot of blood if i spit 10 times it will have trace of blood in an hour

User :   yes every time i spit at night more frank blood

User :   only if i pick it there might be dried blood

User :   every time i spit today there is a trace of blood but i spit unpurpose not coughing up
Doctor :   most of the time, absence of symptoms like pain, or a swelling, indicate that this is not a serious issue,
User :   i spit 20 times an hour to see if there is blood and each time there is a trace

Doctor :   hematemesis is blood in vomiting and its mainly due to bleeding veins in the esophagus
User :   no i mean the other one with over 200 ml according to net life threatening
Doctor :   YOU can go to the ER, if yiou get spontaneous , non stop bleeding ( not induced by spitting)
User :   how can it be not induced by spitting
User :   how would i know that im bleeding then
Doctor :   it depends on if the total amount of frank blood thats not mixed with saliva
Doctor :   Bleeding in the sence , if your mouth fills up within minutes and you spit bright red blood not mixed with saliva
User :   so you think i should wait till monday
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   Sip some ice cold water to rinse your mouth
Doctor :   stop picking your nose and inducing spitting
User :   ok i will try
Doctor :   and put all your issues to your doc, when u meet him
User :   do u think i could have cancer
Doctor :   no not at all
Doctor :   your symptoms do not indicate cancer
Doctor :   and a physical examination will confirm this
User :   what about going to bathroom 4 to 5 times a day
Doctor :   do u have blood in that as well ?
User :   no
Doctor :   If not try some Imodium, to stop the diarhea
User :   what about the bloody mouth
User :   what else accept water
Doctor :   fruit juices, ice cold will help
Doctor :   icecreams will also help
