Doctor :   hello
Doctor :   may i know your age and gender ?
User :   29 years, female
Doctor :   when did you first notice it ?
User :   hello doctor. i have been out for a drink and my friend was smoking in a way that i was breathing the smoke. I personnaly do not smoke. but the day after i first noticed these spots
Doctor :   you mean to say that the saliva was turned black or you just noticed some black texture
Doctor :   do you have any other medical problem ?
User :   no, ijust some spots really black. it 's been two wweks now
User :   no other medical problems
Doctor :   so since two weeks have been noticing it every day ?
Doctor :   do you have any sinus problem ?
User :   no. First time was the day after, and today. no sinus problem ever
Doctor :   ok now there are only very few conditions that can cause it
Doctor :   and the most common being is smoking, but as you said you just had a history of passive smoking
User :   yes doctor
Doctor :   and the other being a throat infection. Now in that case you will also have signs of discomfort in throat like pain in swallowing or fever
Doctor :   the spots you have been noticing since past two days, have they increased ?
User :   oh , i have some disconfort in swallowing these days
User :   no they remaned the same
Doctor :   the next best step for you to do is to go to a ENT physician and get a saliva test done, and a throat culture. since you dont smoke so an infection could be the culprit here. After which you will be on a antibiotic course and then treated
Doctor :   there is nothing to worry
User :   thank you doctor. you have been really helpfull!
Doctor :   your most welcome
Doctor :   Take care
