User :   My fiancÃe is a 37 year old male. He has had a recurring fever for about a year. This is the third instance each about 6 months apart. They come on very suddenly. 103 fever that cycles up and down for about 3 days. Chills and red face at times but no other symptoms. No problem eating. First time we went to the ER and they worried it was meningitis but never took a spinal tap. Second time he didn't go to the doc as it was so similar. He is very active and not overweight. Has allergy induced asthma. Within the last year was having side pain and they dis an ultra sound worried about his gall bladder but came back clean. Pain seemed to go away with a change in allery and asthma meds. His fevers worry me should we be looking for something more serious?
