User :   I have a rash on my left buttock at the crease between my thigh and buttock. It is red, warm to the touch, and has a group of small blisters that are becoming increasingly painful. The pain is there whether sitting or walking and I'd describe it as a constant burn that increases in intensity in waves. When should I go to the doctor. I first noticed it 3 days ago and it is getting worse.
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   Dr xxxx
Doctor :   Let me read your query
User :   Hello Dr xxxxxxx
User :   I should also include that I am 32 years old and HIV positive.
Doctor :   May i know your age?
Doctor :   Ok
User :   My CD4 count is 650 and my viral load is undetectable.
Doctor :   Do you have any other associated problems?
User :   none
User :   It is difficult for me to see the rash, but my partner looked at it and says it resembles pictures of shingles that he has seen
Doctor :   You need a proper examination to find out the exact cause of the rash and also some investigations like swab from the blisters.
User :   Ok. Thank you.
Doctor :   Since you are immunocompromised it may be possible that Herpes would be there so it would be better to get it examined
Doctor :   Is there anything else i can help you with?
Doctor :   Are you there?
