Doctor :   ok
User :   how much time it will take for him to recover
User :   also how much can he recover what percentage
User :   he is just 5.5 yrs old
Doctor :   total recovery after a brain injury, specially a blunt trauma, may take quite a while
Doctor :   but in young kids, the recovery is faster, since the brain is still growing and can recover at a faster rate than in adults
Doctor :   In case of your son, the maximum duration he might take is about 4 -6 months for full recovery,
Doctor :   I hope u have understood my comments
User :   any special food he should eat so he recovers faster
User :   also can this stroke apear again
Doctor :   high protien diet with vit B12 and folic acid might be helpful
Doctor :   no the chances of recurrance might be very less
Doctor :   but the main part , would be the regular physioptherapy
User :   ok
User :   also for CSF leaks one healed can they appear again
Doctor :   the stroke happened , as a result of the trauma induced inflamamtion
Doctor :   once proper healing occurs, recurrance will be less likely
User :   ok
User :   any special care you would like to advice
Doctor :   there is no need for any other care
Doctor :   the physiotherapy is the only care, that would be special to him
Doctor :   You just need to relax and let time do the healing for ur kid
User :   ok
User :   In long run are there any impacts to the child
User :   I mean once he recovers fully
