User :   i have a general query regarding TB

Doctor :   Tuberculosis is an infection caused by a bacteria. They are commonly caused by a bacteria named as Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
User :   is this infection because of some eating habits like alchohal etc

Doctor :   One contacts this infection when exposed to droplets(that come out while coughing, sneezing) containing the bacteria.
Doctor :   So essentially, one gets this infection when exposed to infected patient.
User :   actual i have been dignosed ith TB via FNAC test .( I have some non painable glands on one side of my neck )i have just started taking medicine post doctor consultation.
Doctor :   Once it enters the system, it can take a while probably months or years before the symptoms develop
User :   i got my Xray for chest & other test which are normal except FNAC test
Doctor :   and since even minute droplets containing bacteria can produce the infection, very rarely does the person remember when he contacted those infective droplets.

Doctor :   Lungs are most common while bladder are the least common.
User :   i have a query whether this kind of TB i.e. non active one can dangerous for my wife n kid ?

User :   any eating habits to be kept under control while medication?
Doctor :   No diet restriction is necessary when on the medication.
Doctor :   On the contrary a healthy diet is essential to prevent the complications of tuberculosis.
