User :   Another problem is there its related to my nails, i was a cricketer and my both first finger nails of my foot were severly hit by a ball and after that it always remain greenish and old nail drops and new nail comes in but after few days it becomes green. i have consulted with one doctor he gave nail fungal test with 20% something , and the result was positive and he gave me one pill for every night

User :   no , nothing only it remains green , i can understand a new nail is coming under the old one

User :   i think KOH at 20%
Doctor :   Sometimes exercises and regular minor trauma can cause fungal infection, it seems like that only. Anitfungal treatment can cure it. Since how long have you been using the medications.
User :   The doctor has given KANSEL -DS (lotion,Clotrimazole) and tablet Tyza(terbinafine in betacyclodextrin)
Doctor :   1)DO not wear too tight socks and slippers as the fungus can grow in moist environment.

User :   around last 17-18 days
Doctor :   The medications are fine but this needs long term treatment so have patience and also be regular in medications.
Doctor :   2)Always wear slippers. Never walk bare feet.

User :   ok, but due to my profession i have to wear shoes and socks from 8.30 to 8.30

User :   so medicines are ok , does it have any side effect ?
Doctor :   You can do one thing, 1) Take Listerine mouith wash and apple cidar venegar.You can pour a sufficient amount of this mouthwash and an equal amount of vinegar into a tub and soak your feet in it for 20 minutes or so.
Doctor :   Medicines are fine and it does not have side effects as such
Doctor :   The above remedy needs to be done at least once a day and is an effective home remedy for toenail fungus.
Doctor :   Also have a healthy balanced diet with more of curd and yoghurt items. Do not take too much of sugar, rice, sweets.

Doctor :   Also take TEA Tree oil and dip cotton ball in it and rub it on nail, once in morning and also before going to bed.
