User :   hi, i am a sexually active 17 year old, and recently i have found that my sperm is very thick. to the extent that i can pick it up with two fingers. a couple of months back i found that i could not achieve a full erection, and i was wondering if these could be possibly connected? i have as a result been drinking more water, however, recently i have been taking these creatine pills to try to boost my bicep and stomach muscles, and apparently it pumps water to the muscles? maybe this is a reason as to why my sperm is really clumpy, but white still, not yellow like people on the internet. and after one ejaculation at night, i find as though i am then running dry. please help, this is a very tender subject area which has caused me such grief lately. thanks
Doctor :   hello
Doctor :   give me a min please
User :   hello. ok. no problem
Doctor :   let me read your query
Doctor :   well think and clumpy sperms can be a sign of dehydration and since now you have started taking mroe water that should take care of it
User :   ive been drinking more water for the past few days though and nothing has changed
Doctor :   you have been having good erections before ?
User :   i had no problems at all with erections until a month or two ago, but all of that is sorted now and i can achieve a full erection, just the sperm seems really thick and clumpy, whereas before it was liquidy, and i have had no real change in diet other than the pills i informed you about
Doctor :   well dont worry about your erections as its been already sorted out and at your age if you have had good erections before you have nothing to worry about
Doctor :   well consuming water will take care of your thick semen problem
User :   how long will it take ?
Doctor :   there i nothing serious you should be worried about
User :   am i advised to lay off the sexual activity or will it make no difference?
Doctor :   it will in 2 weeks time
Doctor :   it will make no difference
User :   any foods i should eat/avoid?
User :   will the pills i have been consuming have any effect?
Doctor :   as long as you are eating healthy you should not be having any problem
Doctor :   and at your young age of 17 i advice that the you should avoid any sort of pills
Doctor :   as thay do have a long term effect on your kidneys
Doctor :   eat healthy and exercise that's basically all you need
User :   ok. thankyou very much for your advice, why 2 weeks may i ask? i was hoping for something a little sooner, any way i could speed it up? as it has been really frustrating.
Doctor :   well you need to give your body time to adjust
Doctor :   dont worry at all its not a issue
User :   could it be a symptom of something more severe, or are you sure its just dehydration?
Doctor :   no its nothing serious
Doctor :   moreover the consistency of sperm can vary in every normal individual
User :   sorry about all the questions, its just at my age i really dont want to be worried about infertility
Doctor :   i completely understand
Doctor :   avoid the external pills and supplements, and adopt a natural healthy lifestyle and you will be all fine
User :   it has been taking longer to achieve an erection also, could that be down to anything connected? i just dont get aroused as easily as i used to
Doctor :   do you smoke or consume alcohol ?
User :   occasionally consume alcohol, but never in huge amounts, and just managed to quit smoking although i was never a heavy smoker
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   well you dont worry at all
Doctor :   you will be fine
Doctor :   there is nothing woring
User :   ok thankyou very much. youve put my mind at rest a bit. and do you know what could have triggered these problems?
User :   they were very much out of the blue
Doctor :   i am glad i was able to guide you, well the think sperm is a sign of dehydration as when we consume less water the body tries to conserve more
Doctor :   and the erection problem can be due to the too much thinking about you having a problem
Doctor :   so just dont worry and you will be fine
User :   i hadnt really drank any less water. i never used to drink much to begin with and my sperm was fine, then all of a sudden my sperm just got thicker, it wasnt a gradual change at all
Doctor :   we as we grow and exercise the requirements of the body changes
Doctor :   its always advisable to keep your body well hydrated
User :   and your 110% sure that drinking more water will solve my problem in a couple of weeks ?
Doctor :   yes i am
Doctor :   ans also do remember, the consistency DOES VARY from individual to individual
User :   ok, thankyou very much. is there anyway i can leave you positive feedback or anything. youve been a fantastic help and really put my mind at rest. your a credit to the website.
User :   even when you get paranoid young teenage boys like me
Doctor :   sure after this conversation you will be be able to do so
Doctor :   well i am happy you got this out of your mind
Doctor :   stay focus and take care of your self
User :   thankyou very much
Doctor :   your welcome
Doctor :   Good bye
