User :   sir,
my friend has testis near to the abdomen,so doctors told to remove the testis,he is at the age of 20,whather he can able to produce child, kindly sugests
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   Iam.
Doctor :   Let me read your query
Doctor :   Is it involving both sides

User :   yes doctor
Doctor :   ok

Doctor :   did surgeon says that both should be removed?
User :   yes sir, becauuse he told that the two sides has been damaged, so it has to be removed,is there is any advanced treatment, pls suggest
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   if both sides are not descended then there is possible future cancer
Doctor :   at the testicles
Doctor :   so if removal is advised
Doctor :   hormone replacement need to be taken
Doctor :   Many men who were born with undescended testes have reduced fertility, even after orchiopexy in infancy
Doctor :   When the undescended testis is in the inguinal canal, hormonal therapy is sometimes attempted and occasionally successful. The most commonly used hormone therapy is human chorionic gonadotropin. A series of hCG injections (10 injections over 5 weeks is common) is given and the status of the testis/testes is reassessed at the end.
User :   so if harmone replacement takes place,is there any possibility of adding false testis inside the scrotum,so that he can produce sperms
Doctor :   Although many trials have been published, the reported success rates range widely, from roughly 5 to 50%,
Doctor :   no
Doctor :   The fertility reduction after orchiopexy for bilateral cryptorchidism is more marked, about 38%, or 6 times that of the general population. The basis for the universal recommendation for early surgery is research showing degeneration of spermatogenic tissue and reduced spermatogonia counts after the second year of life in undescended testes. The degree to which this is prevented or improved by early orchiopexy is still uncertain.
Doctor :   Then is the possibility of storing semen in semen banks
Doctor :   That can be even used after 10 years
Doctor :   got it
User :   sir,is there is any possibility for him to produce the sperms to develop the children
Doctor :   you can discuss that with your surgeon
Doctor :   nO
Doctor :   it has to be stored
