User :   I forgot about a tampon one night and had extremely ruff sex. I realized it was there when I heard a pop sound and felt the worst pain ever. I went to the Doctors the next day and they tell me nothikng is there. I can feel something really far towards my rectum. Since then I have had discharge with a horrible odor and I can actually see parts of the tampon in my urine. I went back to the doctor and again they cannot explain the discharge that keeps coming back or the substance yet they assure me nothing is there. I know my body. Since then I have had some kidney failure due to some kind of blockage and bartholins cyts. Also when I feel around for it and push on one side, all this fluid comes gushing out of me. I have dizzy spells daily I feel I am getting more sick everyday and they dont know why.
Doctor :   Hi
User :   hi
Doctor :   Let me read what you have typed
Doctor :   How long has it been since the tampon was left.?Also may i know your age?
User :   4 months ago I am 35 It feels like it has gone towards my rectum and you actually can feel it on the outside, but they tell me thats not possible and I cannot jget anyone to even entertain the idea of checking
User :   I had one sono that showed a foreign object but I dont have insurance and they said oh kthat was nothing
Doctor :   What symptoms are you having right now? You said about Kidney failure, are you on any medications?
User :   I am swelling up in my abdomen and legs and in my back area. I am nauseated and tired all the time. alot of pain in abdomen and kidney areaWhen I take a bath i can even feel it swell up and then I can feel the water or whatever drain out of it and it sounds like a suction when you pull on it.
User :   no medication now all they do is give me pain pills and send me home because they said there is nothing they can do for me
Doctor :   Tampon left inside for so long can cause infection and vaginosis. You need to get it removed immediately to prevent the infection from spreading.
User :   T'o get graphic when I lay down for the exam it is covered by back area and you khave to reach very far to even feel the tip is it possible that it went into the anal area
Doctor :   Infections are the only concern. Pain, discharge, fever, odour pelvic pain are the signs of infection
User :   I have infection already a severe one and I have been on antibiotics for 4 months
User :   straight
User :   It is caused from the tampon and everyone keeps saying its not possible but I am going through it rigght now
Doctor :   It cannot go to the anal area as such but can go from cervix to uterus to the abdomen
User :   they told me it could not go to the abdomen that it couldnt go past the vagina area
User :   what if when we had sex it broke that thin skin inbetween?
Doctor :   You need to consult with a gynaec who can take it out after proper examination and also may use some instruments to remove it. She also can observe the cervix area through Speculum
Doctor :   Kindly explain what thin skin you mean to say?
User :   they cant see it so they cant its in to far thats what I am trying to tell you they said that it couldnt go in that far. now you said that it can doctor dont mean to be rude but all your saying is basic and I have done all the basic
Doctor :   Since i am not examining and observing you i am only trying to explain you the possibilities
User :   I use to work in the hospital I need someone to tell me is it possible that its there and they cant see it through a exam?
Doctor :   Since USG scan is showing the foreign body, it means it is there
Doctor :   USG scan is a more reliable one than examination
Doctor :   And you already explained that scan is showing up
