User :   I was wondering if a resting heartrate of 120-160 should be looked at
User :   It doesnt do it all the time but I get real anxious, and usually headaches when it does

User :   The Dr put me on Prenatal vitamins because my iron is so low
User :   I am not pregnant

User :   I went for labs and my white blood cell count was high as well as a couple other tests
Doctor :   and since when have you noticed this increase in heart rate ?
User :   no I have had it off and on for the last couple of weeks
User :   Just dont like the feeling
Doctor :   well it is high, there are many factors that can be responsible for it
Doctor :   do you consume lot of caffeine ?
User :   No
Doctor :   you are in stress ?
User :   a little but not more than normak
Doctor :   did you got your thyroid tested ?
User :   normal
User :   yes and it came back fine
User :   thats the first thing I thought it would be

Doctor :   ok these are the most common causes and since you have said no to all the next step for you is to get a physical examination done . esp EKG

User :   is it something that can wait I hate going to the Er

Doctor :   liek high blood pressure

Doctor :   well i would say you should not take it too lightly and get your self examined
Doctor :   we do want to rule out all the possibilities
User :   its at 140 and im sitting here
Doctor :   as there are many cardiac reasons for a increased heart rate and it will be better to pin point the exact cause and treat your accordingly
