User :   I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative but, my period is 9 days late and im having symptoms.

User :   i got an ultrasound done but the tech said that she saw something and i was either pregnant or going to get my period.

User :   Yeah okay well around may 13 i had some spotting. i was like brown and pink. it only lasted like 3 days and was like 10 days earlier than my normal period

User :   my period is usually a full week and very heavy with a lot of cramping. and i have had some little cramping during the spotting but that was it

User :   So dont bother with any more testing?? what if i miss my period this month too???

User :   but if i have symptoms then a test should detect the hcg hormone. Is that correct?

User :   o ok well, i just shouldnt worry then i am most definitly not pregnant right?
