User :   hi... my right hand is numb. with a lot of pain at night

User :   had it around 8 months back.. it wasnt htis severe..

User :   had nurokind plus the last time i had it. was ok in a months time
Doctor :   The symptoms indicate you have carpal tunnel syndrome
User :   got an MRI done .. nothing significant in there either
Doctor :   Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs when the median nerve, which runs from the forearm into the hand, becomes pressed or squeezed at the wrist.
User :   there is no pain in the wrist actually

User :   i also have migraine.. did MRI of head 3 months back and now cervical
User :   C5-6 and C6-7 have a very slight bulge

User :   but the doctors i ahve consulted have ruled out carpel.. they say its due to a nerve compression in the cervical region

Doctor :   1. The treatment is basically using Ubiprofen 600mg 3 times day for 4-5 day s when u have severe numbness
Doctor :   Ibugesic
User :   somebody suggested a wrist splint with a metal rod inside when i go to sleep
Doctor :   I 1 tab 3x/day
Doctor :   Yes
User :   is it a pain killer
Doctor :   wear splints to keep wrists straight, and use correct posture and wrist position.
Doctor :   it is pain killer
Doctor :   Wrist splint at night greatly helps
Doctor :   If pain not controlled , u can get steroid injection in wrist
User :   what do you think would be the problem doc and how much time would something like this take to cure?
Doctor :   Your Orthopedic will guide you further.
Doctor :   It will not cure completely
Doctor :   You will get recurrent symptoms
Doctor :   when u get symptoms uneed to use medicines
User :   does it maen that i need to be careful with it for the rest of my life?
Doctor :   to completely cure , u may have to for surgery , that ur doctor wil guide u
User :   i was into workouts and body building some 4 yrs back. i want to start again but i dont think thats possible now?
