User :   I rining in my r ear experience lightheadedness my ears ofeten try tio pop,at time lethargic,had sinus operatio0n 3 weeks ago still have same symptoms

User :   My right ear started ringing in nov after a sinus and respitory infection and still is..I had a sinmus operation stateside 3 weeks agoi still have same syptoms
User :   light headed both ears feel full and want to pop at times feel lightheaded and lethargic a couple times a day

Doctor :   This is very common after a Sinus surgery.
Doctor :   Have you been using antibiotics ?

User :   I have allergy meds and rinse my sinus nothing helps

User :   I was on antibiotcs and steroids before and after surgery

Doctor :   Sometimes cold weather, bad dust, pollution can aggravate the condition
User :   the surgery was to help[ me breathe and to try and alleviate this ..I have hearing loss in the right ear more than left I am 53 male
Doctor :   As the ear and nose are very much connected by the Euschtacian tubes there is every chance of infection in ears.

User :   well i never had this I have had allergies all my life,now I feel weird most of the day,sometimes unable tio think clearly,stuffy feeling even though my sinus are clear,I have to suck mucus from my sinus down the back of my throat constantly

Doctor :   Please visit an ENT and see to it that he puts you on a broader spectrum of antibiotics

User :   i just came from an ENT!!
User :   I did he operated on me and I have been on antibiotics since oct they did cat sacns removed tissue.The biopsy found only unidenifiable non organic material in the tissue

Doctor :   I do understand, but this is again an ENT problem and ear issues can be sorted out only by him.

Doctor :   On your biopsy report , Could you be a little specific What the report actually stated ?
Doctor :   Usually we see Nasal Polyps in Sinusitis
User :   let me see if I can find it
Doctor :   Ok.
Doctor :   How about any other associated symptoms like fever , pain in the ear , any pus or fluid draining out from the ear ?
User :   sorry i cant locate it
User :   no drainage

User :   just stfffy sinus loud higher pitched c ring only in right ear
User :   and needing to have to suck mucus from eustaion tube down back of throat
User :   both ears oft feel syffy and pop but do not give relief
Doctor :   Sometimes the sinuses again get refilled with fluid and so you have to go for an X-ray PNS

Doctor :   And we can see whether it is a recurrence in sinusitis ?

User :   nothing has changed after my operation I had 3 cat scans one with contrast nothing found no tumors nothing
Doctor :   How about your blood report for Eosinophils ?
User :   they found a small pice of metal in the soft tissue of my forehead so tyhey could not do mri
User :   negative blood work all ok
Doctor :   Are you in the army or was it due to a procedure for drainage ?
User :   Gave me flonase and allergra d and told me salinne rinse thats what i do

User :   civilian

User :   yeah he operated for deviated septum,to remove hardeded infected tissue,to help drainage
User :   I guss I am a mechanic so i think may be just a shaving or small piece broke off a hammer nothinfg to serios
Doctor :   1. 40 % of surgeries for DNS & Nasal Polyps have recurence of Sinusitis.

User :   nothing and i mean nothing has changed except I can breather easier
Doctor :   2. You need to absolutely avoid pollution, cool drinks or beverages and cold climate for at least 3-6 months depending on the allergy status and eosinophil counts and allergy tests.
Doctor :   3. Apart from the medication you stated I would advise you take Steam inhalation with Sinarest liquid drops.
User :   well not too cold in XXX ...pollution is all over
User :   ok ii have a humidifier inmy room
Doctor :   4. I would also advise for a rigorous Respiratory exercises and Physical Exercises for Oxygenation is the best medicine for Decresing Sinusitis recurence.
User :   and if nothing changes in another 4/6 weeks?
Doctor :   5. Otrivin nasal drops will help you a lot.
User :   well if I can run I will but the vertigo feeling may inhibit that
Doctor :   6. If not please visit an ENT in 2 weeks time.

Doctor :   Try to do some other physical like floor exercises
User :   ok
