User :   I have a swollen lump on the right side of my septum i sqeezed pus out twice but the lump is still there and is very tender

User :   I thought it was an ingrown hair but it fairly big

User :   It's very sensitive right now I just tried to squeez it
Doctor :   this seems to be an abscess
User :   What should I do about it
Doctor :   since it has grown larger within the last few days
Doctor :   you need antibiotics for treating the infection and incision and drainage of the abscess
Doctor :   you can take some advil for the pain and inflammation
User :   Could I do that my self it's kind of embarrasing
Doctor :   the pus in the abscess need to be drained to prevent the spread of the infection
Doctor :   I understand the hesitation, but if it results into any complication by treating it yourself, it may cause more problems
